The Power of Patience

Hebrews 6:12 That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

In these days of instant coffee and many other instant products, delayed action becomes frustrating in the lives of many people, because they are looking for instant gratification.  There will be times when it’s the will of the Lord to receive the answer, but it is not the right timing.

Frustration can become possible when you are not completely depending on God’s promises.  The easier it will be to depend on God’s promises as you see other promises fulfilled.

Start looking for simple ones that will be easier for you to believe.  Then raise your level of faith to receive the answer.  Later as the need arises, aim a little higher, and raise your faith for that answer.  Romans 10:17 tells you, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”  Study your Bible to receive more faith.
